Five Spice Roasted Pork Fillet with Plum Sauce

Ingredients:


2 x 340g/12oz pork fillets, trimmed


2 tbsp soy sauce


2 tbsp five spice powder


1 tbsp oil


Fresh coriander, chopped


 

For the Sauce:


2 tbsp plum jam


2 tbsp soy sauce


2 tbsp vegetable oil

 




AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO………

 

1.  Preheat the oven to 200c/Fan 180c/Gas Mark 6.

2.  Brush the fillets with the sou cause, Sprinkle the five spice powder onto a plate and roll the pork in the spice. Place on an oiled baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes, turning over half-way until done.

3.  Whisk together the ingredients for the sauce.

4.  Remove the pork from the oven, allow to stand for 10 minutes and then slice thinly with each layer overlapping on a serving dish.

5.  Drizzle over the dressing and garnish with the coriander. Serve with noodles and stir fry vegetables.
