Ingredients
6 nectarines or peaches, halved
3tbsp amaretto liqueur
2tbsp soft brown sugar
2tbsp flaked almonds
4 amaretti biscuits
To serve
Ice cream, thick cream or Greek yoghurt
AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO....
Preheat the barbecue or grill. If grilling, place the fruit in a dish and sprinkle with the amaretto and sugar.
Cook until soft, charred and caramelised at the edges.
If barbecuing, cook the fruit flesh-side down until you have deep golden griddle lines; to finish off place cut-side up in a baking dish, sprinkle with the liqueur and sugar and put in a medium oven for 10 minutes to soften the fruit all the way through.
Scatter with flaked almonds and crushed amaretti biscuits.
Serve with ice cream, thick cream or Greek yoghurt.
